With a vision for positive change in the trekking industry a group of people committed to nature and adventure tourism formed North Face Trekking. Our team is comprised of leaders in Himalayan adventure travel, naturalists, environmentalists and others, all with a mission:

1. To make it possible for the visitor, to Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan & India to travel in an eco-friendly manner throughout.
2. To directly benefit the local economies in the trek areas by using the services and products available locally.

Raj Kumar Thapaliya - Managing Director
He was born in Kavre district east of Kathmandu, and has been involved in tourism field since 1990 in Nepal. He has worked as a trek leader with several groups in different regions. After gaining many years of experience in tourism, He later founded his own company to provide travelers with enjoyable and safe exotic holiday trips in Himalayan. He is very friendly and hard working. He has also good guiding experience in rafting in Nepal and Italy and has traveled in many countries in Europe.

Shiva Thapaliya- Tour Manager
An experienced tour leader has worked with several travel agents in Nepal. He has extensive knowledge of different cultures and the history of Nepal. He is very straightforward, hard working and friendly. He deals with all tour programs of Nepal for the company.

Rajendra Thapaliya-Marketing Manager
He is very smart and friendly, has very good experience in trekking, rafting and kayaking in Nepal and most of the European countries. He is also an adventure leader and is in charge of marketing for the company. An Internationally certified kayak instructor.

Sangita Khadka-General Manager
She has worked as a General Manager of the company since May 1999. She has lots of experience in office management. Since she graduated from the University she has worked in tourism full time. She's very smart, helpful and friendly.
 

Dhruba Shrestha- Adventure Leader
Dhruba is in charge of rafting for our company, he has a decade of experience in adventure tourism. He has very good knowledge about wilderness trips and is a perfect expedition leader. He has traveled and guided in Nepal, India and Europe on a kayak trip, he is very friendly and helpful.
 

Mani Kumar Lama- Trek Guide
He is a very experienced trekking guide and is very knowledgeable about different outdoor activities. He joined in our company as a guide in 2001. He has guided in the high Himalayan routs of Tibet and Nepal. He is very frank, friendly and helpful.
 

Nudaraj Gautam- Trek Guide
An experienced trekking guide, he has joined the company in 1999.He is very honest, friendly, helpful and hard working person. He has done many treks in Nepal, his ideas and experience help you to make your holiday unforgettable.
 

Tashi Tamang- Trek Guide
Tashi, an experienced high adventure mountain guide, has worked with us for a long time. He is very friendly and helpful. He has trekked in many parts of Nepal all over the country. He has done many high passes in several routes.
 

Madhav Baniya-Trek Guide
He has many years of experience trekking in Nepal. He has been working in this company since 2002 as a trekking guide. He has very pleasant and polite personality and friendly relations with clients and office staff.
 

Dom Tamang- Trekking Cook
Mr. Tamang is a well-trained cook of our company. He has been working with us since 2002. He cooks very delicious food for our clients on camping treks. He smiles a lot and is friendly with the staff and guests.
 

Milan Tamanng- Trekking Sherpa.
Milan is very experienced trekking Sherpa -porter. He has been working with us since 2000. He is very helpful, honest and hard working.
 

Keshav Thapaliya- Trekking Sherpa
Keshav has been working with us form 2002,he has done most of the treks in Nepal. He is also very experienced Sherpa staff of our company. He loves to trek and help clients.
 

Ang Thile Sherpa - Expedition Leader
Mr. Sherpa, is very experienced technical Peak climbing and mountaineering expeditions in Nepal. He has good knowledge about climbing high mountain peaks. He has been working in this field for more than 20 years and has lead many Peak climbing groups and succeeded on most of the trips. He is very polite, honest, helpful and friendly.

Ang is near Manang on Chulu east with 2 flags, for Britain and Ireland.The Mountain top is covered with snow and the sky is cloudy.
