Across the Kingdom(8 day /7 night Tour )
Day 01: Fly to Paro and drive to Thimpu {65km/2hr} and overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Thimpu: Full day local sightseeing tour. AM visit the Memorial Chorten of the Late King Jigme Dorjee Wangchuk in the heart of Thimpu town/The Tashichhodzong, 'The fortress of the auspicious Religion.' PM: Stroll downtown to the Handicraft Development Corporation, which displays all kinds of traditional handicraft products of Bhutan and overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Thimpu - Punakha{77km/3hr.}. AM: After breakfast drive over the spectacular Dochula pass {3100m} to the warm and fertile valley of Punakha. PM: Visit the historic Punakha Dzong, once the seat of the old capital of Bhutan. The magnificent Dozing is sprawled between the Phochu and Mochu rivers and overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Punakha-Ghumanthang{210km/8hr.}. AM drive to Mebartsho {burning lake}. This gorge is the holy pilgrimage place where Guru Rimpoche had hidden religious treasures later discovered by Terton Pema Lingpa. Visit the Swiss farm where you can buy excellent local made cheese.
Day 05: Bhumathang:Full day sightseeing. AM: Drive to Mebartsho. Visit the Swiss Farm where you can buy excellent local made cheese. PM: Visit the Jakar Dzong{castle of white bird}. Built in 1549AD this Dzong house the administrative center of Bhumanthang. Visit kurjey Lhakang, the most sacred and popular monastery in Bhumathang and overnight at hotel.
Day 06: Bhumanthang-Thimpu {267km. /8hr} AM early morning drive to Thimpu via Tongsa and Wangdiphodrang and overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Thimpu-Paro{65km. /2hr} AM visit Drukgyel Dzong /Kyichu Lhakang The national Museum. PM: excursion to Taktsang Lhakang.
Day 08: Drive to airport for your flight or exit by overland.
