Discover Sikkim (9 Day/8Night)
Day 01: Fly Kathmandu to Biratnagar /Bhadrapur on arrival, you will met and driven to Gantok (7 hr) and overnight at camp.
Day 02: Gangtok (1,600m) In the morning visit Enchey Monastery, Deer Park, Government institute of Cottage Industry, Dodrul Chorten, Research Institute of Tibetology. Afternoon visit to Rumtek Monastery, situated 24 km away. This magnificent monastery was built by the late Gyalwa Karmapa, the head of the Kagyu sect and overnight at camp.
Day 03: Peaks, located in a valley in North Sikkim and overnight at camp.
Day 04: Lachung-Yumthang-Lachung (3,500mts 25 km) in this drive after breakfast through conifer and rhododendron forest the drive is enjoyable experience. Packed lunch provided and overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Lachung-Gangtok Drive back to Gangtok. And overnight at camp.
Day 06: Gangtok-Pemayangtse (2,085m 117km/4 1/2 hr) in the morning after breakfast drive through semi tropical forests. Cardamom plantation and villages. Afternoon, visit to Pemayanstse, Monastery, situated adjacent to the hotel. This is the premier monastery of Sikkim built in the 17th century and overnight at camp.
Day 07: Pemayangtse-Khenchapladri lake-Pemayangtse (24km / 1 1/2hr) After breakfast drive to Khechapledri lake which is also known as the wishing lake, and is considered very sacred and no water sport or other activities besides prayer and worship are allowed around it. Afternoon/ a short walk to Sangachholing Monastery (2km/45min) located on a hillock above the hotel. On a clear day the view of the mountain ranges is breathtaking and overnight at camp.
Day 08: Pemayangtse-Kalimpong (133 km/5hr) Breakfast: full day sightseeing of Kalimpong town and overnight at camp.
Day 09: Kalimpong to Biratnagar/Bhardapur (150km /4 hr), after breakfast drive to Biratnagar/Bhadrapur fly back to Kathamndu.
