    The Langtang Valley trek takes you to an area of Nepal where the most of the trekkers have enjoyed their great holiday trips. Nepal's second largest national park, the park has healthy forests of rhododendron, fir, blue and chir pine and birch. The wildlife in the park includes leopard, musk deer, Himalayan black bear, rhesus and langur monkeys and the endangered red panda.

    Formerly known as Ganja La Chuli, Naya Kang (5,844 m) rises to the west of Ganja La, and is a popular but difficult mountain to climb. The normal route to this peak is via the snowy north-east ridge. It is not yet clear who climbed this summit first. The most important reward of climbing Naya Kang You will have stunning views of Lantang Lirung (7246m), Lenpo Gang 7083m), Dorje Lakpa (6990m) and mighty Shishapangma (8027m) in Tibetan side.

    Best season: Sept. to Nov.& April to May.
    Facility: Teahouse lodges- on the way of trekking route & climbing days camping.

    Program duration: 16 day

    Suggested itinerary

    Day 01: Arrival Kathamndu & transfer to hotel.
    Day 02: Preparation day / sightseeing
    Day 03: Drive to trailhead Dhunche / Syabrubensi & overnight camp
    Day 04-06: Trek to Kyanjing Gompa
    Day 07-08: Exploration / Acclimatization day
    Day 09-11: Base Camp - High Camp - climb attempt - Ascend back to Kyanjing Gompa
    Day 16: Drive back to Kathmandu

    Cost includes
    Arrival and departure transportation, 3-meals a day
    Camping gear (two-man tent, foam mattress, kitchen tent, dining tent and toilet tent)
    Supporting field staff including professional climbing guide, cook, kitchen boy, porters as well as their necessary insurance, meals and allowances Peak permit fee and Domestic airfare including airport tax, conservation and national park area entrance permit and first aid service.

    Cost excludes
    Hotels in Kathmandu, International departure airport tax, Personal Insurance, Personal equipments - sleeping bag, down jacket, waterproof jacket, kit bag etc. Equipment allowance (Legally each expedition must be providing equipment allowance for all Sherpa, guides and porters. This allowance is necessary for brand new equipment (sleeping bag, shoes, crampons, down jacket, raincoat etc.). Travel medical insurance and emergency evacuation cost, laundry, telephone calls, alcoholic beverages, bottled drinks, tips, gifts, souvenirs, etc.
