Annapurna Region Trekking

Annapurna region is one of the most popular trekking destinations in the world and also the most trekking visited area in the country, the area spread around Kaski, Mustang, Manang and Lamjung districts of Central Nepal one of the well managed Annapurna Conservation Area project, the area reaches as high as 8,091 metres of Mt. Annapurna 1st.It has many option for the trekkers long and short trek 3-days to one month long trek according to their interest. Every trekker can enjoy the magnificent scenery and its unspoilt bio-diversity, including Fish Tail peak, Annpurna, Nilgiri, Gangapurna and Lamjung Himal. Ghandruk is the first experience and further down is Gorepani that provides fantastic panoramic view of the Annapurna ranges. Equally eye catching are hills of rhododendrons that blossom every spring. The turning point of the Annapurna Circuit is Jomsom. The trek southeast from Jomsom, leads to the scenic Tilicho Lake area at an altitude of 4,919 metres. In the Circuit route, is the famous Hindus religious sites Muktinath Temple.

About 101 mammals, 39 reptiles, 22 amphibians,478 species of birds, 9 types of rhododendrons, 38 orchids and 1226 varieties of wild plants are well protected. The region is a popular cultural heritage site which is inhabited by different ethinic groups.The various trekking routes offer different experiences - the trek around Annapurna leads you throughout the region, the Annapurna Sanctuary trek heads toward the heart of the Annapurnas, and the short trip to Poon Hill offers the best panoramic views in the region.


Things to Bring for Trekking
Rucksack, trekking boots, stick, water bottle, personal sleeping bag, sun glass, sun cap, sun cream, rain coat, down/Gore-Tex Jacket, thermal trousers, gloves, warm socks, shorts, sandles, T-shirts, pullover, flash light, personal toiletries, camera, binoculars, reading and writing materials, medicine recommended by your doctor.

Each of our treks are managed by a team of professionally trained trek guides, cooks and Sherpas. Our leaders/guides and trek crew are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable holiday to our clients and in an eco-friendly manner.

National Park and Conversation Fee
Eight areas of Nepal have been designated National Parks. They are Langtang, Rara, Royal Chitwan, Sagarmatha (Everest), Shey Phoksondo, Khaptad, Bardia and Makalu Barun National Parks. Trekking in any of those National Park areas requires a park permit, which can be obtained at the national parks and conservation counter office on payment of NRs 1000 each. Similarly trekkers are required to pay NRs. 2000 for every trekker going to the Annapurna and Makalu region. This fee is utilized for environmental conservation and maintenance of the area.
